Let's Get Naked Outside!

Okay.. What I mean is, let's get you naked outside. Somewhere fun, safe, preferably warm.

Outdoor shooting, particularly shooting nudes outdoors isn't easy, especially in busy Southern California. I'm not much one for shooting urban nudes in LA as the city discourages this with actual laws and the LAPD likes to enforce these laws. Also, carrying 10K plus in camera gear into graffiti town isn't a great idea.

But ask me about shooting in the mountains or the desert and we're going to have a fun conversation.

Let's be clear, this is a commitment. Usually we leave LA around 9 or so in the morning. It takes about 2 hours to get to the locations and then we'll be there for about 2 hours. So it's kind of a full day. We take my truck so we can go off road as the farther you get from people the less likely you are to see anyone.

When it's really safe we can grab the rope.

Sometimes it's just nice to experience a warm day.

There are a lot of abandoned structures, some much safer than others to shoot in.

The best thing though, to me, is the vastness of this space and what it does for the soul.
